Contact Us — ContrastLab

Have a question about one of our tools, a bug to report, or a suggestion for something we should build next? We read every message. ContrastLab is a small independent project, so response times vary but nothing gets ignored. Use the form below or the direct email address, and include as much detail as you can so we can help on the first reply.

How to Reach Us

Email: quicknexofficial@gmail.com
Response time: Usually within 2–5 business days.

For the fastest response, tell us which tool you are writing about the Color Contrast Checker, the Font Pairing Generator, or the Text Readability Checker and include the exact text, color values, or font pairing that caused the issue.

What to Contact Us About

Bug reports. If a tool gives an unexpected result, a button does not respond, or a score looks wrong, tell us what you pasted, what you expected, and what you saw instead. Screenshots help.

Tool feedback. If a feature is missing, a formula should be added, or the interface could be clearer, we want to hear it. Several current features started as user suggestions.

Accuracy questions. If a contrast ratio or readability score differs from what another tool reports, send us the input text or color values. We will check the formula against the standard.

General questions. Questions about how the tools work, what the scores mean, or which formula to use for a specific project are welcome.

Corrections. If you spot an error in a guide or tutorial on the site, let us know the page and the correction.

What We Cannot Help With

ContrastLab is a free toolkit, not a consulting service. We cannot:
  • Audit your full website for accessibility compliance.

  • Provide legal advice on ADA or WCAG obligations.

  • Design or build pages for you.

  • Recover lost work — the tools do not store anything, so pasted text and color values are gone once the tab closes.

If you need a formal accessibility audit, we recommend a qualified accessibility consultant. If you need a quick check before publishing, the tools are here for that.

Before You Write — Quick Answers

"The contrast checker says my colors fail. Is the tool wrong?"
It is applying the WCAG 2.1 formula. If the ratio looks wrong, check that the hex values are correct and that the foreground and background are not swapped. A ratio of 4.5:1 is the AA threshold for normal text; 3:1 is the threshold for large text and UI components.

"My readability score seems too high or too low."
Paste the full text, not a fragment. Short samples produce unstable scores. Also check which formula you are reading Flesch-Kincaid and Gunning Fog often disagree by several grade levels on the same text.

"Can I use the font pairing CSS on my site?"
Yes. The CSS output is free to use in personal and commercial projects.

"Do you store my text or colors?"
No. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.

"The page does not load or a button does nothing."
Try a different browser or disable extensions that block scripts. If the problem continues, send us the browser name and version.
